1. Acceptance of Terms of Service

By accessing, viewing, or interacting with the DriverCalc web application, website, calculators, and documentation (collectively, the "Service"), you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree to all provisions of these Terms, you must discontinue use of the Service immediately.

2. Informational and Educational Purpose Only

DriverCalc provides mathematical calculation models, expense estimates, and educational guides intended solely to assist independent delivery workers, couriers, rideshare drivers, and gig economy participants in analyzing potential trip economics.

3. Driver Safety & Safe Operation Policy

Your physical safety and the safety of pedestrians and fellow motorists is paramount.

• No In-Motion Use: You strictly agree NEVER to view, type into, interact with, or manipulate this calculator while operating a moving motor vehicle, motorcycle, scooter, or bicycle.
• Safe Stoppage: Only review calculations or adjust vehicle cost profiles when your vehicle is safely brought to a complete stop in an authorized parking zone.
• Compliance with Traffic Laws: You remain solely responsible for obeying all regional cell phone hands-free laws, distracted driving statutes, and road safety regulations in your jurisdiction.

4. Independent Contractor Status & Platform Decisions

You acknowledge that as an independent contractor or sole proprietor, you retain sole discretion over which offers, contracts, deliveries, or rides you accept, decline, or complete on third-party platforms (including DoorDash, Uber, Lyft, Instacart, Amazon Flex, Deliveroo, Just Eat, iFood, and others).

DriverCalc has no influence over, control over, or responsibility for:

• Platform order dispatch algorithms, base pay changes, or customer tip modifications.
• Your acceptance rate, completion rate, or platform account deactivations.
• Actual merchant delays, road traffic bottlenecks, or toll charges incurred during your shift.

5. Intellectual Property & Fair Use of Trademarks

The architecture, mathematical modeling, interface design, graphic assets, typography, and original written copy of DriverCalc are protected under international copyright and intellectual property laws.

All third-party company names, product names, logos, and trademarks mentioned on this website (such as DoorDash, Uber, Lyft, Uber Eats, Grubhub, Instacart, Amazon Flex, Spark, Deliveroo, Just Eat, Menulog, Swiggy, Zomato, iFood, 99, Didi, Rappi, Glovo, and Cabify) are the property of their respective trademark holders. Their reference herein does not imply any affiliation, sponsorship, endorsement, or commercial association.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. DriverCalc disclaims all warranties, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, operating accuracy, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that calculations will be uninterrupted, completely error-free, or precisely match actual future vehicle repair invoices or gas pump receipts.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall DriverCalc, its creators, developers, or contributors be liable for any direct, indirect, punitive, incidental, special, consequential damages, or damages for loss of profits, loss of revenue, vehicle depreciation, mechanical breakdowns, traffic tickets, or accidents arising out of or in any way connected with the use or performance of this Service.
